Hello, my name is Aidan Junior. I am a dedicated and hardworking student with a passion for mid and long distance running. I have committed to running at Washburn University

I started to train seriously for running my freshman year.  I had a good running foundation from playing soccer and basketball since I was 4. It wasn't until my freshman season of xc that I realized I had great potential in running.

All aspects of running impact my life! The skills I have learned have given me a passion for excellence in school, community and athletics. I take great pride in my work ethic. I believe that work ethic and ambition has provided me the academic and personal goals that will continue to grow in all areas of my life. I have such great aspirations and passion for competitive running. I have run in the worst possible conditions. I've run in 33 degree rain at Footlocker my freshman year. I've run in extreme cold and in deep mud. I've run lots of races in rain or with bad winds and of course the Texas heat. I've learned to adapt to all weather conditions and feel I thrive in any condition.

I've been Captain of my cross country team since my Sophomore year. I always try to lead by example and I set high goals for myself. I want to be the example; show everyone that with hard work, dedication and consistency; they could do the same. My work ethic and pure willingness to consistently work hard, improve and compete will continue to drive my results in school, community and running. I've always strived to be the hardest working person on every team I've been on.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
