Malachi Alvarez Hayward '26 Recruiting Profile

I’m currently a Junior in North Texas (class of 2026). Both my parents served in the Army and retired. By the time I was 10 yo, I had moved about 8 times across the USA. Now that we reside as a final move in the DFW metroplex, I am happy to be stabilized at Byron Nelson High School (Trophy Club, TX). I’ve been running varsity T&F since I was a freshman in HS (at 14 yo). I have grown a lot and progressed both academically and athletically. I’ve learned from my parents that discipline, dedication and commitment are what’s required to make a plan and work toward my goals. I was on A Team for football 2 yrs, Varsity wrestling (as a sophomore). Track and field is my true passion, and as I round out my 3rd year (and entering my senior year in the fall), I am looking to continue my T&F opportunities.
