Kobe Shields '18 Recruiting Profile

  I have been running since I was in elementary school and knew then running was a sport I wanted to pursue on a collegiate level.  I love to run and am extremely driven. I practice like I compete, all out and 100%. I want the chance to compete in college because I feel I am talented and capable of running at that level and possibly beyond.

  What makes me different  than other recruits is I have a very positive personality, I have high moral standards and I am very coachable. I believe in sportsmanship by treating my competition with respect. I pace well with opponents, and I don't take off too fast at the beginning of a race. With academics I try to stay ahead of my homework and turn assignments in on time.
