From the age of 7-12 I lived in Sydney, Australia. It was here where I picked up my first shotput and qualified for the regional equivalent for U-10. I became interested in track and field from a very young age, as I have always had a natural talent and gift. Through playing this sport I have discovered that I am a very perseverant person. I work hard for what I truly want, and I will stop at nothing to achieve my goals. After suffering a leg break last year I have come back into my sport hungrier than ever and more passionate than ever before. I aspire to maintain the same GPA in college as I have in high school, I hold academics to a very high standard for myself. I possess many skills that have been described as unique. From a young age I've always been a fantastic conversationalist, I love talking to people and have never been shy to speak in large crowds. Additionally, I am proficient in the Spanish language after taking classes for four years, and a novice in French after studying for 2 years.
