Hi, my name is Devon Taylor. All my life I've loved running but ever since I started running sprints in 7th grade and ever since my spikes touched the track I've never lost the love. I'm a 3.8 GPA student at Moses Lake High school and have took AP classes Freshman and Sophomore year and am taking college classes at our community college doing running start for my HS and my plans for after HS is I want to study exercise physiology to become a Physical Therapist someday.
I'm also a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and since I've always wanted to run at BYU but honestly any college at that level or lower I'm ok with but I've been training to get to that level someday running in a DI or DII school someday. I'm on the short side of the scale for male runners at 5'5" but I've been taught by my sprinter coach to use this to my advantage with my sprinting running a good 58 secs 8th-grade year to 55.00 secs my freshman year.
Since I live in Washington I would like to go to the area around Washington like Idaho, Montana, or Utah but I'm willing to go to other areas around the US. I want to run my freshman year but I'm willing to be able to walk on at any point if possible. Ever since I was little I've been taught your 10 mins early or your late and your always the last to leave so you can help out with cleaning up or putting stuff away to help out with the team or friends. I am very outgoing and really try to help out my team anyway I can especially since my last two years of HS I've been a varsity captain in both xc and track.
