My name is Parker Aldrich. I’m a Junior from Onalaska, Washington. I’m a thrower who is self-taught as there is no throwing coach in our small school. In fact, I have been asked by our coaches to mentor our other throwers and teach them what I’ve learned. Due to Covid, I didn’t have a freshman season and my sophomore season was only 7 weeks long with the first week being practices. To improve my throwing ability, I have attended the University of Washington's track and field summer camp 2021, the Centralia High School track and field clinics summer 2021 and I have built my own shot and discus ring at home so that I am able to practice on my own free time. Not only am I a hard worker on the field, but I’m a hard worker in school. I’ve consistently been an honors student and am looking at schools that have both a good throwing program and a science education program or a music education program.
