My collegiate goals are to compete at the most competitive level possible and push myself to become the best runner I can be. Through this, push my teammates in order to succeed together. I look forward to being challenged every day, continuing my running journey, and representing my school on and off the track.
Ever since I ran for the first time in 6th grade, I knew this was the sport I wanted to continue with for the rest of my life. The feeling that succeeding in running gives you is unmatched, and that is why I push myself every day in order to attain this feeling. Since coming into high school, my work ethic has improved exponentially each year. Freshman and sophomore years I played basketball during the winter, which helped me build strength in other areas, but this year (Junior year) I realized training in the winter is a must to succeed in this sport. And this has brought me so much improvement which I am grateful for. My work ethic and mental determination is unmatched and will continue to get stronger as I begin my college journey.
