I love to be a part of a team & will go out of my way to help others. I always support my fellow players on and off of the field. I will be a valuable asset to my college teams & I pride myself in being an all-around athlete. I am very athletic, learn fast and remember anything that is taught to me. My 10+ years training in martial arts has helped me learn patterns and train my body in muscle memory. I have traveled around the US and World competing on a World level in martial arts and have been judged by some of the best in the field. I competed as an individual and part of the 7-time World Champions Infinity Demonstration team. I was also invited to compete for a position on the US Olympic team. I am a trained gymnast and I have applied those skills to my martial arts forms. I can jump, run, roll and handle many martial arts weapons with ease. In martial arts you compete against your friends and teammates. I have learned to win & lose graciously.
I am a self-motivator and hard worker. I may feel I am better than I am but this only push’s me to keep up with the goals I set for myself. I am not a scholar but do try hard in school and try to get the most out of my time. I excel in the classes that I can relate too and love to learn about the World around me. I have continued to improve my grades and ended my sophomore year with a 3.3 GPA I started my first job the month I turned 15 yo and am still employed at the same company. I have been given numerous raises and promotions and I have been told many times I am a valuable member of the team. I show up to work on time, never call in sick and I work my shifts with respect, never asking to adjust schedule or leave early. I am a golf ranger, my duties are employee training, directing guests too adhering to the rules and are safe. I can also play a great game of golf.
In track I was one of a few freshmen to run at the Varsity level, placing in the top 10 in the 100m. I placed 1st in JV Conference 2017 in both long jump, triple jump & 100M relay. In football, I started late because of Martial Arts, I worked my way up to free safety starter on the JV team my very first year. I am fast and have an ability to jump and I use it. My hands are precise, my ball handling skills in football and basketball are exceptional. I owe this to many years of weapons training, you drop you do not score. In basketball was on the freshman team and last cut on the JV team (12 were taken). I used this time to improve my skills by joining a CYO league. I then mastered the ability to dunk. Sophomore year I was 6’ and had a wing span of 6” 4”.
I enjoy rifle shooting, hunting and target practice. I have been told I have the natural eye. I have not chosen my major but I am leaning toward a sports profession or business courses. Opening and running my own martial arts school or working with a professional team is my first choices at this point.
