My name is Ryan Potter and competing in Track and Field at a high level is my goal. I have a strong work ethic, on and off of the track. I maintained a 3.8-3.9 GPA this past year at Oak Creek high school. I try and lead by example and show leadership by helping out other track athletes on the small stuff that turn out to make big differences. For example, block starts, and form. I learn from constructive criticism and I listen to my coaches. I work hard on anything I set my mind too, and strive to become a better athlete, student, and person. I know that in order to achieve my goal of competing at a high level in this sport, it will take a lot of practice and training. I am training with my school's cross country team and run 35-40 miles a week, running 5 days a week. After cross I am planning on keeping my endurance up by running and hitting the weight room 3-4 times a week in the off-season. In all, I am a confident leader and will bring my best effort to the university that will suit me best on, and off the track.
