Hi, my name is Rowan Hibbs (13 years old) and I'm from Wyoming I just finished my first year of track and cross country. I might be young, but I have already fallen in love with the sport. My times might not be the best but I'm rapidly improving. At the beginning of the year I was 1:15 slower. I didn't grow up in a sports family, but when I tried track, I loved it and suddenly my mental and physical health changed a lot. By trying to get recruited I hope to continue doing the sport that changed my life. I've met lots of new people and made new friends and I hope I can make more friends. Currently I am a manager for my indoor track team as of Feburary 2025. There is only one person in my whole town who is faster than me and he is in highschool but at the rate I'm improving I will pass him come cross country.
My coaches said that next year I would 100% break the school record for track. I haven't had a lot of accomplishments but I've been invited to several academic camps and I am top of the state every year and one of the highest scoring kids on fast bridge.
