Cody Hinman '23 Recruiting Profile

I've been a distance runner for the past six years. I have run Cross Country, Indoor Track, and Outdoor Track for 3 consecutive Varsity seasons in high school. My passion for running, the team atmosphere, and learning, as well as being challenged by coaches on a daily basis, furthers my passion and desire to continue my running career in college. 

My academic aspirations are to pursue a degree in Computer Science with an emphasis in Web/Game Development. Computer Science has been a high interest and passion of mine since I was a young child. I have always aimed to achieve high no matter my goals or success, and will continue to do so in college to capture my career goals. 

I would be a good candidate for your team because I am dedicated, committed, a team player, and always approach my sport with a growth mindset. I have always been lucky enough to work with great coaches in high school. They not only challenge me physically and mentally, but encourage me to be the best person I can be on and off the track.
