Fisher Curtis '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Fisher Curtis and I love volleyball. I started playing the sport a couple years ago in eighth grade on a rec league team with some of my good friends. I immediately decided that I wanted to play volleyball whenever and wherever I could. I played for my middle school and highschool, where I was voted captain of the JV team as a freshman. In my sophomore year, I made varsity and was named captain there as well. I started my first season of club volleyball as a junior in the 2019 season with Molten, where I made the 18s team and was again named captain.

Personally, I pride myself on my own work ethic. No matter what, if I am determined to do something, I make it happen. I set my mind to it and I execute. Each day, I do everything in my power to become better, both as a player and as a person. I think this is why my coaches and peers think I'm a good captain. This mental drive has never failed to give me the ability to be a leader in any situation, both on and off the court, which is why I think I'm a great candidate for your team.
