Omni Tournament Hello, My name is Mehsaam, I started playing Volleyball in Middle School along with Soccer. I become confident as goalie for AYSO Davis fall and the Select Team and it helped me condition to dive for the volleyball. I joined the middle school volleyball team then attendted volleyball clinics at hosted by Five Star VB Club, UC Davis and UC Berkeley the summer 2023 before trying out for the Davis High School team. I made it on the Frosh team as the starting Setter. My passion and commitment for volleyball has grew stronger and I casually tried out for the Omni Club team after friends mentioned it to me in passing. My family focused more on acacemics and business then sports so I am new at navigating through the Volleyball world. It has brought so much joy and excitement to my family to watch me play and it makes me proud and happy to be part of an athletic affiliation, team, and sportsmanship, and brotherhood.
I made it onto the Elite 15s -2 Team, learned different positions, Oppo and Middle blocker in addition to setter position I played as a freshman. This is my first club team and it's taught me to play within a team who really wants to learn, get better and build trust, and communication. I am excited for to attend AAU Nationals in Fl this summer, please come check me out at the OMNI Elite 15s 2 team under coach MJ.

During the summer I have an internship at Sacramento Auto Garage where I am learning about auto mechanics with the goal of becoming a design engineer for future transportation industry and systems. I am curious about how things work, how to improve them and innovative with limited resources.
I aspire to attend more camps, travel the nation and world with volleyball and commit to a university that will provide an opportunity for me to positively impact and challenge game.
