Wanting to play collegiate volleyball has been a dream of mine since I have been a junior in high school. Having played volleyball since I was 16 for Northern California Volleyball Club and eventually Synergy Force Volleyball Club, I have played with and against some of the best players in the country and know that I am still neck and neck with them in terms of skill and athleticism. I am currently assistant coaching my old high school team and never in my life have I had such a strong drive to play volleyball. It is an insatiable thirst that I will do anything to quench.
People would describe me as kind, respectful, hardworking and friendly. They would describe me as a talented volleyball player who is a very polite young man and is focused on school and work but, will do anything to ten foot a ball whenever possible.
My ideal coach is a person who is in love with the game. A person who can always see room for improvement and who can always push my boundaries physically, mentally and emotionally. I am (as stated earlier) an assistant coach myself and see in many teams a parallel between coaches attitudes and the players. As a coach I work hard for my team and respect them and in turn receive the same from them. I only ask that I can find a coach that I can give my 100 percent to every day on and off the court. I am a very competitive person and would like a program that has a great team dynamic of working hard for each other. An amazing hitter can't succeed without his setter and even the most athletic setter can not succeed without great passers.
