Cody Evans '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello I'm Cody Evans.

I am 17 years old and in 11th grade. I currently go to school at DaVinci Science located in El Segundo, California.  This is my fourth year playing club volleyball with my first start on MB Surf 13-14's followed by Rockstar 15's.  I am currently on SCVC 17's. I am the starting Opposite in our 5-1 system. I can adapt well in many different systems while maintaining my effectiveness.  My drive for self-improvement along with my resolve has brought me into the position I'm currently in.  

My academics play a serious role in my life and something I don't take lightly.  I take several honors classes and continue to push my self towards a better education.  Leadership is a example of my drive as a student and as a person. I believe in the leadership program and I work hard to make our school a more stable and healthy environment. I am also a member of the American Red Cross Club at my school. Volunteering is one activity I enjoy and recently volunteered  on the Heal the Bay beach clean up.

My commitment to athletics can be seen through my lengthy history of club soccer where I was the captain for 8 years and l led my team through many tournaments and games. Keeping a calm, positive , motivated and composed attitude with my teammates, referees, parents and coaches will always be a part of me. I have vey fortunate in the opportunity to captain my highschool team for the last 2 years. With that, I believe my drive for challenge will bring towards a serious athletic and academic school.
