Blake Shepard '26 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coaches! 

My name is Blake Shepard and I am currently a Junior on the Varsity Volleyball team at Saint Francis High School in Mountain View, California. 

I have been playing volleyball since my freshman year of high school and I also play club volleyball at Red Rock during the off season. My goal is to not only play volleyball in college but also receive a good education. I am very competitive and a hard worker when it comes to sports and school. Even though I started my volleyball journey later than others, I excelled in other sports growing up including soccer, baseball and basketball. The reason why I ultimately chose volleyball as my primary sport is because I had the most fun playing it and I am passionate about always improving my game. I am working out now regularly with a trainer on top of practicing 3 times a week/private lessons. I am also focusing on my nutrition to gain strength and increase my vertical jump.
