Ever since I first started to play volleyball, I understood how much I would fall in love with this sport. I brought in my mom's teachings of always putting your best effort forward in everything that I do, into how I play on the volleyball court. I will do anything to keep the ball from touching the court on my side of the net, by always hustling and not being afraid to dive. I always work hard during practice and will keep all of my outside problems off the court. I appreciate all the suggestions that my coaches give me to improve, because I realize being coach-able is important aspect, and my coaches are telling are only telling me what is best for me. I've always dreamed of playing in college since my first time participating in high school volleyball. I never realized how close I was to achieving this dream until a coach told me, that I have a lot of potential and he could see me playing volleyball at the collegiate level. This just made my drive better and stronger and I pushed myself to play harder, every time I am on the court. I apply this same work ethics into my academics because I know my education will come first and volleyball will be second nature. Without the grades I will not be able to participate in athletics. I will also apply this work ethic to any coach that becomes interested in me.
