Hello college coaches, my name is Robert Michael, and I am a 2025 starting junior setter playing for the Palos Verdes Peninsula High School varsity team. I am also the starting setter on SCVC 17's team. I have a 4.1 GPA and this year will play varsity volleyball for my high school program. I have been playing club volleyball for the past 6 years, beginning at age 11. In 2021, I was the 2nd setter on Team Rockstar’s National Championship team in the USA Volleyball 14U Open division in Kansas City, MO. In addition to playing indoor volleyball, I am also an avid beach volleyball player. I would like to pursue playing volleyball in college for a high-level competitive program. I enjoy being part of high performance teams and I am comfortable being a leader on the court and encouraging my teammates. When I am not playing volleyball or studying, I volunteer my time with the Los Hermanos Peninsula Service Club. As a volunteer we participate in actives such as feeding the homeless, cleaning up our SoCal beaches and coaching youth sporting events.
