Personal Statement

"Rock solid six-rotation player". I really enjoy playing volleyball. My natural position is outside hitter, but I love scoring on blocks, passing, and attacking from the back line as well. I am captain of my club team, Cross Point (Murrieta) for the 2015-16 SCVA season. This is our very first boy's team and I think we all really improved our skills this season. I am excited for our last tournament on January 8th before the high school season starts. My personal goal is to be the Sunbelt League MVP and contend for the Inland Region MVP.

I also embrace academics and know that college classes will be challenging, but very interesting compared to high school. I enjoy working with kids and think I might want to be an educator and coach after I graduate. Leaning towards history, psychology, or education as a major field of study. I just completed the SAT on October 3rd and am challenging myself this fall semester with Trigonometry, Anatomy, Economics, and Expository Writing.

Team captain. First ever boy's team for Cross Point (Murrieta, CA). Chose this club over Forza 1 South to play for my HS varsity assistant coach, Patrick, and with 4 of my HS varsity teammates.
2014 Forza 1 South (18-1 (top team in South/Temecula region))
Completed short summer season in June. Played 3 tournaments at Anaheim Sports Center and competed in the SCVA boy's classic on 06/19-06/21. Teammates with our All-inland region MVP, David Hamilton, and two other first team all-region players who all were seniors for Paloma Valley HS (Menifee) this year, CIF-SS division 5 semi-finalists.
