I’m a libero and outside hitter who doesn’t like to lose, especially to teams that we should beat. Instead, I use that to motivate me to train and practice harder than my competitors and to be the best teammate I can be.
Playing volleyball is my passion. While last year I was the varsity closer on my high school baseball team, my true love is volleyball. Balancing both sports and maintaining a 4.04 GPA while taking college classes was a challenge, but I was able to work it out. In the fall semester, I was able to play on my club team (CA Volley) and workout with my high school team. In the afternoons, I would go to baseball practice and then in the evenings I would go to volleyball.
As for what I want to study, I’m not entirely sure. Right now, I think I’d like to study business/finance and may want to open a business someday. From my childhood, I’ve always been entrepreneurial, whether it was sorting coins to find those with high silver content to sell or buying lots of cell phones, fixing them, and reselling them on Ebay. But, I may be open to studying other fields as well.
In addition to all of my studies, I work at a local pickleball court, collecting fees and setting up the courts for players. And, I’ve had to help out with my dad, who unfortunately has been battling cancer for the past 4 and a half years. I love it when he and my family can attend my games, and don’t mind having to run extra errands to help around the house.
I look forward to hearing from you and showing you how I can be a key contributor to your men’s volleyball program.
