Zach Johnson '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Zach Johnson.  I grew up on the volleyball court as my mom was a varsity coach for all of my life.  Once I started playing a few years ago I knew I loved this sport and wanted to be better.  Everything I learned on the sidelines and in gyms finally became real to me.  I am a force on the net.  I set and hit on the right side but also love being an outside hitter.  I am currently playing on the beach every weekend and fine-tuning my defense and serve. 

As a cadet in a military high school, my academics come first.  I push myself to be on the distinguished honor roll each semester.  I am disciplined to work hard and never get comfortable.

I am confident and aggressive on the court. I want to be a part of every play.  I am constantly talking and making adjustments as needed.  I am a leader and teammates look to me for encouragement and strength.  

My goal is to play in college.  I want a strong academic school where I can grow as an individual and athlete.
