My name is Micah Tumas (2024) and I am a 6’7” setter/opposite from south Florida. I am extremely competitive, and I love to help my teammates experience success. I thrive on the fast-paced intensity of volleyball and the importance of the whole team working together as one unit. I love brining the best out of my teammates by encouraging them and leading by example.
I was the Captain of the Kings Acedemy's High School 2023 team. This year we won the District and Regional Championships for the 1st time is school history; then went to the Final 4 in the State!
For the HS season I was selected to Sun Sentinel's "1st team All-Area" and nominated for the Palm Beach Post's "Player of the Year." On June 5th, I had the honor of being selected to be a part of Team Florida and represent Florida in the U19 National Championships. https://www.floridavolleyball.org/2023-boys-u19.html
My parents have raised me to be a person of integrity and to work my absolute hardest as whatever I do. Volleyball has taught me some amazing lessons about myself including leadership, discipline, overcoming adversity and the importance of teamwork.
