Austin Bennett '21 Recruiting Profile

During my freshman year in high school, I began taking an interest in volleyball. Ever since then, I have been passionate about the sport. My main motivation in volleyball is to improve. Sophomore year I prioritized training my body which resulted in a signficant increase in my vertical to 35 inches. Every practice, I drive to reach higher and higher.  When I am on the court, I am constantly strategizing how to better support my team, even if it takes risky sacrifices. I value the teamwork in volleyball over everything. 

Academically, I love science, specifically biology and oceanography.  My current career aspiration is to be a marine biologist.
