My name is Zachary Prangnell, I am 17, and in the class of 2026 at Kihei Charter High School. I have been playing volleyball for 2 years along with my twin brother Luke. My goal is to become a student athlete and play collegiate volleyball at the highest level. To reach this goal I am and will continue to maintain a 4.0 GPA. I am currently enrolled in my second year of college class with UHMC offered at my high school. As often as my family is able we travel to Oahu and train at Volley Hawaii. For the past year I have been doing weight training and vertical jump exercises.
Currently I have finished playing my second year on the Maui high varsity team as my Charter school does not offer Men's Volleyball. I am also playing on the club team AVA here on Maui. My brother and I started to learn volleyball on the beach. We continue to train on the beach and participate in CBVA tournaments in California in the summer times.
I live with my mom and dad on Maui. My Dad is the lead pastor at Hope Chapel and my mom is the owner and director of clinics for Imua Physical Therapy. Right now I am enjoying learning more about music and the piano. I go to youth group every week at Hope Chapel and volunteer in the kids ministry.
