Personal Statement
I am a good candidate for a college team since I am a very determined athlete. I take pride in my accomplishments and strive to be the best in whatever I am doing especially in volleyball and academics. Besides being a hardworking person, I consider my main asset is that I am a team player. I work well with my teammates, lead by example, and have been known to help my teams destress by being encouraging and funny.
Growing up in Hawaii has also given me opportunities to be around some tough standards. We take our sports seriously. We have to fly over to Oahu to compete in tournaments. We make our own opportunities to embrace courts with little sand or gyms that are small. We appreciate mental toughness and doing the right thing.
I want to play libero for a college team. I have played outside hitter as well. It is a privilege to play volleyball alongside my brother and teammates. Thank you for your consideration.
