Ian Martins '17 Recruiting Profile

Aloha, my name is Ian Martins. I am a setter from the island of Maui, Hawaii and I am a senior attending King Kekaulike High School. I started my volleyball career at the age of seven and have wanted to play collegiately since freshman year. As a student-athlete, I am determined to excel in both academics and athletics. At school, I'm involved with various clubs one of which includes The National Honors Society. Also, I've maintained an academic cumulative G.P.A. of a 4.0 throughout my high school career!

Currently in my second semester of senior year, I will be a four year varsity player at King Kekaulike. Our team has won three consecutive league titles beginning my freshman year. Being a team player, a leader, and having a focused mental mindset makes me different from other athletes.
