Kayden Kaauamo '22 Recruiting Profile

Aloha! I am a 6’2” outside/middle hitter from Hana, Maui, Hawaii and I will graduate with the 2022 class in May. I have a 3.64 GPA and was inducted into the National Honor Society freshman year. 

As a freshman varsity player, I was able to attain Honorable Mention on the 2019 All Stars Team for the Maui County DII division. Unfortunately, my sophomore high school season was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic and cancellations for the Boys Junior Nationals &  USAV High Performance Championships, followed. Junior year was cancelled as well. I’m currently a senior and I recently transferred to King Kekaulike High School, Division 1, to compete in my final season. 

I also fly from Maui to Oahu to practice with my club team monthly since boys volleyball clubs are not offered on the island I live on. 

When it comes to choosing a location for college, I am looking at Hawaii or California. School size or demographic is not important, I only hope to receive a good education and play volleyball. I plan  on majoring in Engineering.

What I can offer to a team is the promise to always work hard, never give up and be a leader on and off the court.
