Matt Enkhsaikhan '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Matt, I began playing volleyball when my mom brought me to it. I started enjoying a lot more once I played with people I can really connect with. 

As an athlete, I have learned many things. I have learned to be open and connected to my teammates and that we only win is if everybody is focused and checked in.  A team can never be fragmented because just one "bad" teammate can bring a whole team down.  It is hard to focus if you don't feel like you don't get the play time you want.. I will keep working hard to get the playtime I feel like a do deserve. I don't see my teammates as enemies, I see them as competitors that work just as hard. I connect with teammates well, as I stay humble and always support my teammates no matter what happens. I don't get mad at my teammates as that would break the team apart, I do get frustrated at some points but I never release that energy to the team 

I am in search for a college that will continue my volleyball career as an athlete and also a college that can help me grow as an academic student. I have particular interest in space and mathematical courses and have high expectations later in my college career. I have been challenging myself academically.
