Andrew Birsa '22 Recruiting Profile

I am Andrew Birsa and I look forward to playing volleyball at the college level! I have played basketball and football since grade school and discovered volleyball my freshman year of high school.  I have found that volleyball is the sport I am most passionate about and my natural athletic ability helps me to excel.  I am quick and I can jump, I am a middle blocker and also play opposite. I train at Sports Performance Volleyball Club at the Great Lakes Center in Aurora, IL on team 18 Bravo.  

Being the oldest in my family, I am a natural leader and I love being a part of a team.  I attend Joliet Catholic Academy which is a tradition in my family as both of my parents graduated from JCA.  I take my academics seriously and I am in the Honors Program and AP classes.  I am hardworking, disciplined and I look forward to competing at the next level.
