Jacob Whyte '19 Recruiting Profile

People say volleyball is just a game. To me, playing sports is a lifestyle. Playing volleyball is something I enjoy doing all the time, whether practicing, competing or training I am on the court daily.   My goals are to play, work hard, respect and strive for any college coach. I am different from many other athletes. You tell me to work hard, and I’ll double it. Respect is what I give to any of my teammates and coaches, by listening, learning, or pumping them up during the game.  I not only work hard for coaches, I also work hard in the classroom. Being a student athlete is something I take seriously. Although I am involved on my  high school team and my travel team, I have been able to maintain good grades in my college prep courses. My skills, plus hard work, will give you and your school a very mature, respectable young man who will always give one hundred and ten percent, no matter what he is doing. My collegiate goals are to earn a  Bachelor Degree in History Education and pass with honors, while pursuing my interests in volleyball.
