Gabriel Caesar '28 Recruiting Profile

I am 15yrs old, 6ft tall and 170 pounds, playing indoor and beach volleyball to a high level in Scotland after 3yrs of playing. I am a starter in our Club 1st team for my age group (U16), which competes in the Scotland Volleyball U18 (varsity) league, and which finished 2nd in the 2024-25 season.  I was MVP in our U16 National Cup Final in 2024 and 2025, which our Team won 2 successive years, as well as winning the National U18 Cup Final in 2025.  I have recently been selected for the Scottish U20 Development Squad for Indoor Volleyball for 2025.  

In Beach Volleyball, I competed for Scotland at the NEZVA 2024 U18 International tournament (Bridlington June 2024).  In 2025, I have competed for Scotland in age group and senior competitions - the CEV Small Countries Association Men's tournament (Ayr July 2025), CEV Small Countries Association U17 tournament (Andorra July 2025) - winning Silver - and the CEV Small Countries Association U19 tournament (Dublin July 2025) - winning Bronze.  I have one of the highest rankings for Scottish Boys in the UK Beach Tour from the 2024 season, and am currently ranked 3rd in the UK for U16 boys.   

I have also been selected for the regional U16 talent pathway for Rugby led by the Scottish Rugby Union, including mental and nutrition coaching, and I have a bespoke Strength & Conditioning programme with one of our International Beach Volleyball athletes.  

I love being busy and am also involved in our school Pipe Band as the Lead Drummer, performing at various venues and in Tartan Week in NYC in April 2024, have enjoyed Dance, Drama, and musical theatre in my time away from academics and sport.  

I am determined to play volleyball professionally and at the highest possible level, and I want to start that process by studying and competing in a US College. I am strong academically, on track for an equivalent GPA of 3.7-4.0, and have 2 Physicians as parents.
