Connor Yeh '15 Recruiting Profile

I primarily live by the cliche motto: Work Hard, Play Hard. While playing volleyball is my passion and I give all of my effort on the court, it does not mean that I compromise in my academics. I work equally as hard in the classroom and I hold top percentile standing in my class. However, even though I believe those two qualities are important and set me apart from some athletes, what makes me even more unique is my character.

Whether it is facilitating classroom discussions, cheering friends up with laughter, or encouraging my teammates on the court, I always carry around an optimistic and positive aura. This positive energy I bring forth uplifts my teammates even in difficult situations, and I believe this is especially important in volleyball, a game where momentum shifts rapidly. I am also a natural leader, not just through words of encouragement, but by action, setting examples for others to follow.

Lastly, I am very coachable and willing to work my heart out to continue improving as both a player and person. I believe that my unique and complete package of skill, passion, diligence, perseverance, teachability, and leadership qualities make me an ideal NCSA Volleyball prospect.
