I am a 6'2” outside hitter from Spring Lake, Michigan. My freshman year I made the varsity team and the season ended with my team achieving a top placement in our conference. I also volunteered to mentor the boys middle school team. My sophomore year my team ended up advancing to the district semi-finals for class B schools. I also started playing club volleyball for Impact Dynamic and playing for the top 16u team. My understanding of the game started to really grow in my sophomore year. My junior year I continued to play club volleyball for Impact Dynamic (18u). Several times a week I make an hour and a half round trip to Impact Dynamic for practice. I strive to arrive early and be prepared. Often my high school practice and club practices are back-to-back and it is important for me to attend both. At the end of practice, I am the last one to walk out the door. During my upcoming school season I am hoping for success and going as far as possible in my conference. I am a current captain of my team and I enjoy watching my teammates rise towards their true potential. I have gone through wins and losses with my teammates, but I never give up relative perfection. I motivate them at practice, games, and in school. I challenge myself to think quickly and to drive towards improvement during tough practices and games. My personal training consists of explosive plyometrics, weight training, and endurance such as running. I would also like to continue my academic career in a good fitting college as I am among the most hardworking and competitive students in Michigan. I am looking for a college that is able to unlock my true potential and make me jump higher, pass better, and swing faster. My ultimate goal is to be playing competitive volleyball at a high level.
