Personal Statement

Hi, my name is Zane Parks and I am a senior setter from Swartz Creek Michigan. I have been playing sports since I was 5 years old, I mainly played basketball and lacrosse most of my life. My sophomore year, during COVID, I started playing volleyball and I love it. I started playing with my friends in the backyard and I picked up on it really quick. I've always wanted to play in college no matter what sport I'm in and I think it would be amazing to play volleyball in college.

I am a strong team player and have grown in my leadership skills and confidence over the last two years. I am open to feedback because I want to continue getting better and support the team in anyway I can.
