Evan Liao '24 Recruiting Profile

Starting with 7th grade Middle School volleyball, to this year being selected as one of Newsday’s Top 50 Volleyball Players on Long Island, to being named 2022 Conference Player of the Year, this has been an incredible volleyball journey for me. To be able to find and play a sport that I love and excel in has been a tremendous blessing. Equally rewarding has been teaching free volleyball clinics to middle school students and organizing volleyball fundraiser tournaments. I raised almost $1200 and donated over 250 lbs of food this season for our school food pantry all through volleyball. All the other achievements, All-County Player, varsity starter since freshman year, club All-Tournament player, and school recognitions, show my commitment, dedication and passion for this sport. My dream is to continue my volleyball journey throughout college and I would be very grateful for that opportunity.
