While I have been involved in school sports since the first grade, our district had little to offer in regards to volleyball until we reached ninth grade. I believe that eight years of baseball, six years of basketball, five years of football and running track and cross-country in Jr. High have certainly helped to condition and prepare me for volleyball. I love the more extreme sports, as well, as I have a snowboard, ATV and mountain bike, all of which I utilize at every opportunity.
I began playing volleyball in ninth grade and soon realized that it was the sport for me. I wanted to push myself to my fullest potential to develop into the best player possible. I made JV my first year playing as a starter and was a Varsity starter by tenth grade. I'm eager to utilize any instruction given by coaches, as all of them have played on a more advanced level than me, at this point.
My mom has the motto of 'work hard--play hard'. My goal is to become an Aerospace Engineer, as I have a fascination with the Space Program, and I excel with Physics, Trig. and Precalc. in school. My goal is to play Volleyball at the Collegiate level, since I think it would be a great counterbalance to the academics, and I love the time spent playing on the court while having an intense drive to improve my game.
