Antonio Llona '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Antonio Llona Baez and I'm an Outside Hitter and Defensive Specialist from Guaynabo, Puerto Rico.  My aspirations and goals in college are to play in division 1, 2 or 3, to get some sort of scholarship, and to achieve my maximum potential in the sport. I am a good candidate for any team because of my versatility in the court. I know I can do anything the coach asks me to do and if I need to play a position that I haven't played that much, you can be sure that I'll give my all to be the best at it. This is what differentiates me from other recruits and also, my academic achievements are above average and I'm aggressive and passionate in the court. I trained consistently during the covid lockdown to improve my volleyball skills and physical condition so once restrictions opened up, I had my best season yet.
