Javier Johnson '27 Recruiting Profile

My name is Javi Johnson, and I am from Dallas, Texas. I have been playing volleyball since 2019, mostly as an outside and right-side hitter. Since 2022, I have also played club volleyball.

One of my key strengths on the court is my ability to see the game in slow motion. This unique perspective allows me to anticipate plays and make quick decisions. As well, I am committed to creating a positive environment, promoting team chemistry and performance through communication and support.

Off the court, some of my important personal values are inclusivity and empathy. I try to make everyone feel welcomed and valued, reflecting my belief in the importance of teamwork and support. My dad's advice about the importance of commitment drives me to work my hardest in everything I do.

Academically, I have maintained a strong GPA while balancing my studies with my athletic commitments.

My goal is to play volleyball at the college level because I simply love the game, and don't want to stop playing.
