Emmanuel Jimenez-Garcia '26 Recruiting Profile

Everyone calls me Manny, but my real name is Emmanuel Jiménez Garcia. They claim that it is simpler to say and more fluid in some ways, and I honestly couldn't argue that they are mistaken. I've been playing my favorite sport, volleyball, for the past eight years or so. I practiced at various clubs and moved from different states before settling down in Texas. Finding a club was the best feeling because there weren't many. Every clinic and camp that I am able to take is going with me. I just loved playing so much that I nearly ran out of free time. Whether I'm on or off the court, I've always had the motivation and perseverance to play. My dedication to the sport has only grown stronger over the years, and I continue to push myself to improve every day. Volleyball has not only taught me valuable skills and teamwork, but it has also brought me lifelong friendships and unforgettable memories.
