Thomas Hurst '22 Recruiting Profile

On a solid and challenging academic track, I know how to succeed and have the mental toughness to win. I have been on top of the HP Beach national team for many years, and I am on track to represent Team USA at the 2022 U19 Beach World Championships.   I show a rare talent with my jump setting ability prevalent not only indoors, but on the beach.  I am looking for a place to pursue beach volleyball, but I can assist a solid indoor team in need of a winner.  In 2020, I Double qualified a nationally ranked top 10 team for BJNC 16s Open without actually practicing the 5-1 with the team.  Knocked out both two time BJNC Open medalists, Vaqueros and 352, along the way.   Placed 5th twice (of 36 and 16) in the recent Men’s AA AVP Grass Nationals 2s and 3s, alongside indoor 2020 16s OHs, showing again that I can serve, block, hit, dig, and pass as well as set.   AVP Mens AA Beach National Champion (31 teams in Clearwater Florida)
