I recognize this is a big opportunity to have you, a coach, looking at my profile. Having the choice to follow me or move on with your search for a good student and a good player. I'm sure you have read more of these then you can count, and I am hoping that mine might just be the one that stands out from the rest.
My family hasn't been the type to fail. All my brothers and sisters have worked to get to where they are and continue to work hard. Volleyball runs in the family, 4 of my 5 sisters have all been greatly successful in there V-Ball careers, they deserved their place in either getting a full ride scholarship to D1 schools, playing on the US national volleyball team, or even being ranked one of the top blockers in the nation. I expect nothing less of myself as the youngest of them all than to work hard and be equal to if not better than them . I know getting into a good school is not an easy thing to do, and I know when I do get in, it wont be easy to stay on top of my responsibilities. I would say I have been raised with a sense of independence and responsibility. I know how to take care of myself and I know the importance of a good work ethic. I recognize that people will be there to help me as long as i'm doing everything I can do, for myself. I know it is good to have a successful student before player, but also to have a hard working player when it is time to perform. It is important for you to pick a good representation for your school, and your team. I feel that I could be that person and fit in wherever you need me. I will work hard for the opportunity and harder still if selected for your team.
