Scottie Dorangrichia '21 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Scottie Dorangrichia I am a hardworking, self starting leader who has a passion for sports.  I have been a starting Varsity Volleyball player since Freshman year.  I am currently the team captain for a 2nd year in a row.  I have ran practices and drills during summer open gyms.  When Covid threatened to cancel our 2020 season I rallied current players as well as recruited new players, presented to the AD and Superintendent to allow us to play.   We were granted a team outside of our Coop and we are currently having the best season of my 4 years of playing high school volleyball.  I have created and executed a mini hoop basketball league for the past 2 summers.  This past summer it grew big enough that I needed to turn teams away.  I also play basketball for my  Whitnall and have played AAU Basketball and Club Volleyball.  I would love to be a college scout one day to help colleges find the diamond in the rough to make their team stronger and more competitive.  I am hoping my college career with give me opportunity to succeed in that while playing a sport that I love.  I can be found on instagram @sjdorangrichia21 as an easier way to contact me.
