Jackson Lucido '26 Recruiting Profile

I’ve been participating in aquatics for nine years. I started swimming when I was nine years old and always enjoyed being in the water. When I got into middle school, I wanted to participate in more of a  team sport.  While I contributed to my swim team’s success, I wanted to compete with my teammates and water polo was the perfect sport for me.  Ever since I first played water polo, my goal has been to compete at the collegiate level. I know that playing in college is an opportunity that will challenge me and help shape my future.

I bring strong ball-handling skills, high endurance, and a deep understanding of the game to every practice and every game that I play. More importantly, I’m a team leader who leads by example and motivates others. I’m also very coachable and pride myself on being one of the hardest-working athletes in and out of the pool.

In the classroom, I maintain a high GPA while practicing with my water polo team and conditioning with my swim team. I’m looking for a college where I can push myself academically and athletically. I’m open to all opportunities and want to find the best fit, both competitively and personally.

My ultimate goal is to be a strong contributor to a college program, grow as a leader, and make my family proud.
