Hi Coach, I’m captain and a starting varsity water polo player at Malibu High, and I play year round with South Coast Aquatics 18U. Water polo is a huge part of my life. Every practice and every game is a chance to get better and help my team. I’m competitive, coachable and always put the team first.

I also swim varsity to build speed, and I surf and snowboard when I can. My schedule is packed with school, training six days a week, and late nights studying, but that’s just part of how I keep improving.

This summer I graduated at the top of my class as a State Lifeguard. Working in the ocean has given me discipline, focus, and confidence under pressure.

I volunteer with A Walk on Water, a nonprofit that provides surf therapy for children with special needs. Being part of that has taught me leadership, patience, and the importance of giving back.

I have a black belt in Tang Soo Do, play guitar and piano, and like staying active. I am half Brazilian and half American which helps me connect with teammates from all different backgrounds.

My goal is to play water polo in college where I can keep improving as a student and athlete and bring everything I have to the program.
