Ever since I can remember, I was a water kid. Whether it was surfing in Morro Bay, fishing with my dad, playing in a pool, or wakeboarding, I was in the water. My dad was a water polo player and he introduced me to the sport at a very young age. We would travel to Santa Maria (which is about 45 min away) every weekend to play One Way Water Polo. Most of the time, I was the youngest player and I felt like this made me work extra hard to keep up with the older kids. If you're looking for a reliable and dedicated team member, I believe I am the right fit for the job. I have a strong work ethic and have been juggling school, sports, and work since a young age. I have developed leadership skills and have been commended for my ability to make good decisions and think clearly. My mom is always telling me that other moms want their kids to hang out with me because of my ability to do the right thing. In other words, I have strong common sense and I believe that I can fit in with any group.
Moreover, I am a quick learner and thrive in hands-on environments. I am not afraid to get my hands dirty and have experience working with my dad on solar installations and landscaping projects. I am confident that my work experience, dedication, and strong common sense make me a valuable asset to any team.
Lastly, I am committed to my academic success and have maintained a 3.6 average throughout high school. I am eager to continue pursuing my passion for water polo in college while also discovering my career path. I am confident that I can bring a positive attitude and strong work ethic to any team. My hope is to find a college that allows me to continue my dream of playing water polo while at the same time discovering my career path. Truthfully, I do not know exactly what I want to be after college, but I do know I like hands-on learning and being outdoors. I hope you will consider me for your team and college. Thank you.
