Matthew Le '21 Recruiting Profile

 I am a Senior at Redlands High School, and our competition season is scheduled for 2 weeks beginning on 3/9/2021. I have been a 3-year Varsity Captain (10-12th Grade), 2-time Varsity MVP (10-11th Grade) and 4 -year Starter for our Varsity Water Polo team. I have a long history of playing the sport of water polo, ranging back to when I was seven years old.  I wish to enhance my college experience and others as well by playing on the collegiate water polo team. I see myself as a facilitator when it comes to meetings with peers or games with teammates. I almost always take a level-headed approach to any task at hand. What sets me apart from others is my ability to gel seamlessly with those around me and set an example for those who look my way. I have an innate desire to help others improve, whether it be in the water, academically, or personally.  I can balance my actions while playing water polo with a collected mind, and perform the necessary act to ensure our team wins the game in the long run. Whether it be sacrificing an ejection to prevent a counter-attack goal or making the extra pass, these are plays I am constantly vigilant about.
