I learned how to play water polo the summer going into my freshman year. As soon as I started to learn the basics I felt like this was my calling. I love everything about the sport how natural it feels to me, the excitement, physicality, and learning new/different things to help me grow as a player. My first year playing I learned a lot, enough so I became a starter and team captain my sophomore year. That's when I started to play set D more, and became our primary set D. To prepare for my Junior year on varsity I did more off season, which was JO's for Sac polo. That helped me learn new ways to play set D and how to post up in set as well.
