Gerardo Garcia '17 Recruiting Profile

My aspiration and goal is to have the opportunity to play for a college water polo team and study to be a Pediatrician.  What makes me, different from other players is that I give it my best all the time; if I'm tired, I go even harder. I'm willing to work extra just to get better and succeed. I'm also different because mainly other players have one main position but that's not me, I'm a utility meaning I am able play any position in the pool.  Further, I started playing water polo for the first time during my freshman year at Segerstrom High School.  By my sophomore year I was on Varsity and got second place in CIF Division 7.    During my junior year, as a  team we won CIF for Division 6, and I was a starter.  I was named not only, "Most Improved Player" by my coach but also "Most Valuable Player."  I believe that I am in my prime and look forward to growing and improving for my Senior year as well as becoming Captain of the team.
