I am a senior at Temple City High School. I started playing water polo year-round with club programs when I was eight years old. Since then, I have been training hard and learning as much as I can about water polo. By learning the different approaches of the sport from each of my coaches, I’ve enjoyed becoming a student of the game and am looking to learn more.
One of my greatest water polo moments was this summer when our 16 and Under Vanguard team took the silver medal at the National Junior Olympics.
During high school I was named Most Valuable Player and Varsity Captain for my team since sophomore year. I have also been recognized by the other coaches in the Rio Hondo League as they have voted me 1st Team All-League for the past two years and 2nd Team All League my freshman year.
As my high school career comes to an end, I am looking forward to competing at the next level. I am prepared to commit to your team and ready to learn more from your program’s philosophy. With collegiate water polo, I am excited to be a part of a competitive program where I can grow academically and develop leadership in and out of the pool.
