I am a strong swimmer and I have been in love with water ever since I can remember. I have been swimming for almost all my life and I have represented various teams but my main and definitely my favourite sport is water polo. I fell in love with water polo as soon as I discovered the sport. I have excelled in water polo at my school (St. Stithians) from Grade 4 (age 9). I learned to play water polo at St Stithians College, which is one of the top water polo schools in the country. I have represented my province (Central Gauteng) from age 13, and I continue to represent my province each year as I train for and play in the annual inter-provincial tournament. In 2016 I was chosen to represent my High School Senior team (St Sthithians first team). My team achieved second place in the St Stithians water polo Invitational Tournament that year.
In 2016 I visited the USA with my provincial team on a training tour, where I was coached by ex-Olympic players and current national coaches, as well as playing against junior national teams, various high school teams and various clubs. Ever since I went to the USA I have been obsessed with the idea of playing there because I love the country and I have always wanted to be part of their style and level of coaching and playing.
It is one of my main dreams and goals in life to play water polo for an American University and I would be honered to be awarded a scholarship to an University in the USA
